World-Class Tennis Returns to Los Cabos

Previously played at the height of summer, an elite group of the world’s top players will compete in singles and doubles matches from February 19-24, the heart of Cabo’s high season. Since the inaugural event in 2016, the tournament has evolved into one of Latin America’s most prestigious tennis events.

“What excites me most about the eighth edition is having so many talented players and the new date,” said José Antonio Fernández, tournament director. “The weather is wonderful at this time of year and that will give the tournament a plus, in addition to boasting four Top 10 players. Not many ATP 250 tournaments have that.”

This year’s Los Cabos Tennis Open boasts five players within the Top 15 of the ATP ranking. Alexander Zverev (No. 6), defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 7), Holger Rune (No. 8), and Casper Ruud (No. 11) have committed to play. They will be joined by the 2023 finalist, Alex de Minaur from Australia (No. 10), to form one of the best lineups in the tournament’s history.

Also competing will be the Australian Alex de Miñaur, champion of Acapulco in 2023 and a finalist last year in Los Cabos; Christopher Eubanks of the U.S. (No. 35), who reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon in 2023; and Alexander Zverev of Germany, who continues to climb in the rankings;.

The Los Cabos Open is part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour. Entertaining millions of international fans each year, ATP tournaments showcase the world’s finest tennis players in premier locations with the mission to inspire the next generation of fans and players.

For the third consecutive year, the Cabo Sports Complex (CSC) will be the venue for this competition. An estimated 30,000 fans are expected to attend. Featuring outdoor hard courts, the Cabo Sports Complex (CSC) is a multifunctional arena capable of hosting an array of sports and entertainment events. With contrasting views of the Baja desert and the deep blue sea, this facility integrates architecture with the landscape. Buildings are made of rammed earth, a very hard and unique construction material that blends with the colors and textures of the desert. The CSC has seating for 3,500 in the main stadium, room for more than 1,500 spectators in the grandstands, and three courts that can be adapted to accommodate an additional 400 attendees.

After enjoying top-class tennis in this splendid sports complex, Pueblo Bonito guests are free to explore the area and enjoy everything the resorts have to offer, from relaxing Armonia Spas to a round of golf on the Jack Nicklaus Signature course at Quivira Golf Club.

Tickets are available for the Full Week Series (Feb. 19 -24), which includes access to the Main Stadium, the Grandstand Caliente MX and alternate courts, and the commercial area and food area. The Monday – Wednesday Series (Feb. 19 – 21) and the Weekend Series (Feb. 22 - 24) offer the same access and benefits as above.
