The Wait for Whales is Over!

November 25, 2015

While visitors flock to Cabo San Lucas for its beautiful beaches, fabulous restaurants and exciting nightlife, not as many are aware that Cabo San Lucas is a prime destination for whale watching. From roughly early December through early April, visitors can catch the annual winter migration of whales as they pass through the tropics, including Gray Whales, of which approximately 11,000 will migrate through the area. But the migration isn’t just limited to Gray Whales; Cabo San Lucas sees a huge variety of other whales as well, including Humpback Whales, Blue Whales and massive Sperm Whales. There are plenty of excellent tour groups for visitors to try, and our concierge will be happy to help you book your tour. The first whales of the season have already been spotted, so there’s no time to waste. Head to beautiful Cabo San Lucas to get a glimpse of these majestic giants as they cut through the water.
