About Jack Nicklaus and Nicklaus Design
The legacy Jack has left as a player can be rivaled only by the legacy he is leaving as a golf course designer. Highly-praised for his positive influence on the game and in design, Jack has been involved in the design of 262 courses open for play worldwide, and Nicklaus Design has 325 courses open for play around the world. Nicklaus Design courses are represented in 32 countries, 38 states, and at least 84 have hosted a combined total of close to 600 professional tournaments or significant U.S. national amateur championships. At least 60 Nicklaus Design courses have appeared in various national and international Top-100 lists. Best’s Golf Guides to Mexico has named Jack the top architect in Mexico since creating the honor almost three years ago.
